Report on a language learner
Executive summary
Purpose:
The choice of different learning strategies has a great effect on the results of the learner’s English learning. The more diverse the strategies chosen to assist in language learning, the more the language learner acquire and recall new words, the more proficient language learner she will be. This is also related to the conclusions made by Craik and Lockart (1972:671) that the more diverse and profound the processing involved in the learning, the more effective and long term the learning is likely to be.The purpose of this report is to put forward suggestions and language acquisition strategies for the effective English language 留学生语言学课程论文learning and acquiring good English competence by analyzing the current language learning situations of an English learner and theories of language acquisition.
