Motivation letter, also known as Study Plan, states why you choose to study abroad and explain your plan after graduation. It mainly consists of the following parts:

-- What experience you have in your field.
-- What you plan to do after graduation.
动机信也叫学习计划，主要阐述说明出国留学的原因以及毕业后的打算。它主要包含以下内容：
--你希望学习到什么
--你学习的原因
--你在所学方面的相关经验
--完成学业后的打算

3.推荐信（RL）
Letters of recommendation are provided to recommend the applicant for admission to the esteemed program. An applicant is generally asked to two or three letters of recommendation. A recommendation letter should be provided by the person who is well recognized in certain related fields and know well about the applicant’s academic background, interests, goals, and working experience.
推荐信是该领域有一定知名度的专业人士向学校推荐该申请者，以第三方的角度证明申请者的才能和资格。申请学校时，学校一般会要求申请者提供两到三封推荐信。

4.简历（CV）
A resume, also called CV (curriculum vitae) or biodata, is about a two-page summary of a person’s life history which includes one’s education, working or internship experiences, and other required information.
个人简历是何人经历的概述（英文resume，CV或biodata）,一般2页，总结个人的教育经历，职业经验和技艺等能力。

5. 命题作文 essay
Some schools require the applicants to write a piece of essay or three pieces responding to some pre-set questions in order to make judgments about the applicants’ academic achievements, leadership ability, personal character, ability of meeting challenges and difficulties, writing skills and so on. A short essay is about 300words while the long one is approximately 1000words.
