Introduction

With the customers’ highly demanding distinctive brand personalities and identities today’s fashion retail market is becoming increasingly competitive and volatile. Although the customers’ tastes of fashion retail are becoming higher and higher demanding companies’ innovations of the products, the market has already been saturated to some extent.

Conclusion


In summary, Giordano has gained success in the past three decades. And its current marketing strategies have lots of advantages but some disadvantages also exist. Through the SWOT it can be seen that although the threats and weaknesses of Giordano will lead to its loss of markets and sale decreases, there are still many strengths and opportunities to help Giordano to enlarge market and improve sales in the coming three years. The Ansoff’s market matrix helps to provide the directions of Giordano’s marketing strategies in the following three years, and Giordano should implement these new marketing strategies recommended for its final goals.
