摘要:随着新兴媒体的发展,传统电视媒体面临着严峻的挑战。目前看来,传统电视很可能会被新媒体取代。本论文旨在分析当代电视媒体的挑战和机遇。

In the contemporary period, advertisement owners pay more attention to definite audiences in special field and industry. According to Andreas, ad makes the transition from mass advertising to focus advertising (Andreas,2009). The method of focus adverting becomes more and more popular among the ad owners. The trend directly leads to the spreading of web ads and improvement of interaction between audiences and ad owners. Different media platform, different media spreading goal and different audiences’ request result to the definite media spreading. According to Laurie Quellette and James Hay, the transition from mass media to focus media is the second development of social and media (Laurie and James,2008).

2. Transition from challenges to opportunities

As discussed above, the emerging of new media brings challenges for the traditional television media. Therefore, how to make this challenge into opportunity draws the attention of television media users. The following essay is intended to conclude the method to improve the television media competitive force.

In the first place, television media should put audience in the first place and pay more attention to its content. According to AIBD the advantage of traditional television media is its content and programming level(AIBD,2009). Television media has the effective and efficient Information system. Besides, it owns the established relationship system including complete production line, experienced interviewer, editor and programmer. Furthermore, it also has the useful information memory pool. The brand television column, branded editor, well-known reporter, and well-known television presenter are all wealth of the television career and the foundation stone of bringing in more audiences. Therefore, creating and building branded program is the key to keep television media’ competitive status. The following will discuss how to build a well-know and branded program information system. News, special reports, and variety show should have market research before put on the stage. Through the market research, the program could be effectively and efficiently fixed its position according to audiences’ requirement and interest. Besides, television program should hire the professor to guide and design the program based on the big orientation of the program. The special requirement is to choose the program that the audiences more likely to watch. Finally, during the process to collect program information and design the program, the sense of visual, hearing and taste should be strong enough to draw audiences’ eyeball and meet audiences’ request.
