摘要:伴随着科学技术和社会经济的发展进步,人类的活动空间越来越广,变化的频率与速度也越来越高,而且不确定性更是成几何倍数递增。根据一项调查报告统计,在人们社会生产实践和日常生活中,有80%以上的信息是属于具有特定地理空间位置信息。

   基于位置的服务,是英文Location Based Service的翻译,简称LBS,它是通过电信移动运营商的无线电通讯网络或外部定位方式获取移动终端用户的位置信息(地理坐标,或大地坐标),在GIS平台的支持下,为用户提供相应服务的一种增值业务。
