摘要：Since the 90s of the last century, one of the most significant changes for the financial structure of emerging market countries is the large number of foreign financial institutions into its banking system. The increased market share of foreign banks in emerging market countries is the performance for the integration of the banking system with mature market countries and emerging market countries. In Latin America and the Eastern European countries in transition economies, foreign banks accounted for most of the total assets of local banks, while in Asia, although the proportion of foreign banks is much less than the above areas, but also become the necessary components in the local banking sector.
