Title An analysis of the causes and effects of global warming, and an evaluation of the possible solutions

1 Introduction
Global warming means the rising of average temperature of oceans and atmosphere on Earth and its stepped in influences. In record, the increasing of estimated temperature was about more than 0.4℃ but less than 0.8℃ during the past century, and the ten warmest years are all turning up within the last 15 years (EPA, 2001). Undoubtedly, the rise of global temperatures is sure on the basis of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) (Macilwain, 2000).

 Generally speaking, global warming is caused by human beings’ activity and natural variations in solar irradiance. Although the solar system could not be changed by our effort, we could do our business in reducing the pollution to protect our Earth for sustainable development of human beings and developing relative advanced technology in improving environment.
During the 20th century, global surface temperature increased by about 0.74 °C (IPCC, 2007). Meanwhile, more and more extreme climate disaster damage people’s hometown and make hundreds and thousands of people losing their lives. All of these finally are due to global warming. So, in another ward, when people try their best to slow or even stop the increasing of global temperature they are not only for the environment or the Earth itself, but also for their lives.
The way in fighting for global warming maybe long and hard, but we still should do our best.
