2. COURSE DETAILS

This Course consists of
• Self-study video recordings available on the course Blackboard website and
organised in 6 modules;
• 2 contact hours with the Lecturer in Charge in odd weeks (1 to 11 and 121)—at
the end of each module;
• and 2 contact hours with tutors in even weeks (2 to 10 and 131)—in the middle of
each module.
Lectures
Lectures will be held on Tuesdays from 12pm to 2pm in Biomed ThA in odd weeks (1,
3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 121).
Timetables and locations are correct at time of printing. A full timetable of lectures and
topics is provided later in this Course study guide. Any alterations to the lecture times or
locations will be advised in lectures and via the Course Blackboard website.
Tutorials
Tutorials will be held in even weeks (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 131). They will cover topics
covered in the current module. A maximum of 7 tutorials classes are planned for the
