However, it can also be seen through the analysis of this article that development of the conference industry in Las Vegas still has some problems. First of all, the image of the city of Las Vegas is not conducive to the development of the industry, measures must be taken to change Las Vegas’ image as an evil city. Then, the increase in the population of Las Vegas’ has brought Las Vegas’ energy consumption tremendous pressure, in future development of the convention industry, it should establish the image of energy conservation and environmental protection in front of tourists from all over the world to achieve the unity of social interests, natural interests and economic interests. Finally, economic downturn has brought some impact on Las Vegas’ conference industry, international strategy is an effective way to help it to protect against economic shocks. At present, the degree of internationalization of Las Vegas’ should be improved further, Las Vegas’ conference industry should strive to explore the international market to secure more international customers.
The 4R marketing theory holds that the key to seize a market has been transformed to establish a long-term and stable relationship with customers for the eventual realization of interaction and a win-win situation between enterprises and customers, this theory also applies to conference industry (Brent Ritchie et al., 2010). With the vigorous development of convention industry, the worldwide competition in the industry is increasingly fierce, many famous cities take convention industry as a future economic pillar industry, these cities will bring Las Vegas’ convention industry huge challenges, these cities include Dubai, Singapore, Macao and so on. If Las Vegas can not meet customers’ personalized demand, these customers are likely to choose its competitors. How to provide quality services to retain customers and establish a long-term and stable relationship with customers will be an important topic for Las Vegas’ convention industry for future research.
