Abstract
China’s traditional medicine industry has been functioning better than before during recent years and its products have been improved as a result, meanwhile, as the Irish medicine market opens to the whole world as well as the improvement of Irish investment environment, the situation is becoming better. However, there are still some problems during recent years. In the long run, these problems will affect the competitiveness of China’s traditional medicine industry in Irish and other Western markets. The neglect of international regulations and rules among Chinese medicine producers has become a serious problem, this caused many barriers towards traditional Chinese medicine. China’s traditonal medicine industry is going to Marketing to the world markets, this above situation must be improved, it is strongly believed that Chinese traditional medicine industry can overcome such problems and will become much more positive and advantaged not only in Irish markets but also in other markets in the future.

The dissertation is going to adopt five Ps method of analysis, SWOT method of analysis as well as the PEST method of analysis to analyze the present and potential medicine market in Ireland, the micro situations and features of the marketing process of traditional Chinese medicine in Ireland market, the micro environment around it as well as the outside macro environment in Ireland facing with the Chinese medicine companies.
