摘要:本文英语教学法论文,随着教育和相关学科的快速发展,许多学者和研究人员关注游戏在幼儿英语教学中的应用。游戏教学能提高课堂教学的效果,是英语教学的重要手段。

this section will first exhibit the data analysis ofchildren’s listening achievement based on which a discussion of the results will bepresented. A pre-test on children’s listening performance was conducted before theexperiment to make sure whether English listening comprehension of children in theexperiment group and the control group are at the same level. The results wereanalyzed by group statistics and independent sample t-test and presented in Table 4.1and Table 4.2. As is shown in Table 4.2 that the significant difference (sig.) of Levene’s Test forEquality of Variances is 0.762 (>0.05), combing that Sig. (2-tailed) in T-test is 0.521(>0.05), which demonstrates that there is no significant difference between the twogroups. Hence, the listening ability of these two groups are at the same level beforethe experiment.

Conclusion


The thesis mainly concentrates on the relationship between game teaching andEnglish teaching effects in kindergartens. On the basis of a profound analysis ofresults and discussions in Chapter Four, the major findings are as follows.
1. The approach of game teaching contributes more to children’s listeningimprovement than the traditional teaching method. Games lowers children’s anxiety,and make it easy for children to acquire English input. Also, different games providechildren with different contexts to be acquainted with phonics, pronunciation they areexposed to. The approach of game teaching combines fun and English inputeffectively, leading to helping children develop their English listening.
2. Compared with the traditional teaching method, the approach of gameteaching functions better in improving children’s speaking. Games are interactive,during which every child is provided with chances to speak in English, even those shychildren, therefore games bring more possibility to develop children’s speaking.Especially in role play, children’s favorite game, children can have access toimproving their English and learning more knowledge through mimicking others’manners and speech, like those of a teacher, parents, a shop assistance etc. Games inEnglish can not only help develop children’s speaking but also help improve theirgood manners and behaviors.
