THE RESEARCH ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMPANY PERFORMANCE AND CEO REMUNERATION

ABSTRACT
As a result of the rapid development of the modern society, the business is now one of the most important sectors of the world, with a significant to almost everyone in the society, to make the biggest and complex system. Every company is ambitious and want to be more successful, while there are just some can achieve that, and the others will be the ordinary ones. Therefore, more and more institutes and departments both of the internal as well as external of the companies and organizations are set to do various researches, aiming to make a perfect idea to be a guide of the business, to gain a booming business performance. There are already many researches and analysis on the different topics, for example, the business managements, including the human resource management, the product management, the quality management, the risk management, the public relationship management, the time management, the creativity management, and so on. Many of the results give a good choice and reference to the firms all over the world, the improvement of those factors is just the source of the incredible development of the Economics, especially the business. on the other side, things are not so perfect, for instance, there has been relatively little analysis of CEOs’ remuneration and their relationship to firm performance in Australia, especially when compared with the literature from the U.S. actually, The studies  have  shown  a  significant  positive  relationship between the two aspects. But within the academic researches and analysis on the topic of the relationship between CEOs’ remuneration and company performance for Australian, the relevant data, as well as the results are not significant enough. 

The aim of the paper is to make clear of the relationship between company performance and CEO remuneration in detail. In order to get a clear idea of that, various relevant academic articles, and existing theories and methods will be the proof and evidence to the arguments of the paper. The business data of the chosen companies in Australia will be a testimony, the various mathematical models will be established based on the theories of econometrics; the computing process will be simply shown, with the help of some software, as the Excel, and so on. The results of models will be compared with each other, to clarify the truth of the relationship between the CEO remuneration and company performance. A scientific and reasonable researching method and process will be the feature of the paper, and the result will be a good guide to the future reforms or changes of the business style and management strategies, for create a better developing way in the competitive business environment.
