摘要:The English learning maladjustment phenomenon is extremely highlighted in thetransition stage from primary school to middle school because of the change ofsubject contents and learning environment.
2.2 Structure of adaptability
The adaptation has hierarchy characteristic; accordingly, learning adaptabilityhas factor structure. As for the factor structure of learning adaptability, the researchersstudy it from the perspective of primary and secondary school students’ learningadaptability. And these researchers put forward the following views.Chen Yinghao, Lin Zhengwen and Li Kuncong (1991) think that learning adaptability includes such five aspects as learning method, learning habit, learningattitude, adaptation of body and mind. Besides, Zhou Bucheng (1991) makes thelearning adaptability scale from these dimensions like learning enthusiasm, plannedlearning, method of listening to class, method of reading and taking notes, method ofmemorizing and thinking, method of taking exam, learning environment, personality,physical and mental health and so on. Later in Li Zhengyun’s (2001) study, he thinkslearning adaptability is made up of self-knowledge and self-monitor. From the pointof its affecting factors, learning adaptability consists of learning motivation, learningability, environment factors, teaching pattern and social activity (Feng Jianyong, LiHong, 2001). However, in Simon L & Roland’s (1993) view, learning adaptabilitycontains three dimensions: learning belief, learning emotion and learning behavior.Furthermore, these three dimensions consist of the following nine factors: fear offailure, test anxiety, test preparation, attention to quality, peel’s help, turning toteacher’s help, learning priority, effective learning and ease degree of learning.
