bsp;comprehension  in  CSET  were mainly carried out in China. Some  of  the  current  studies  focused  on  the  preliminary  analysis  of  the districted-based  English  examination  papers  according  to  the  English  Curriculum Standards of Compulsory Education, such as Chen Tian & Zhang Shunsheng (2006)，Cheng Wenhui & Huang Ping (2011), Fu Jing (2006), Yang Yancong (2012), etc. They analyzed  the  features  of  reading  subtest  in  CSET  from  different  part  of  China. According  to  their  findings,  some  valuable  guidance  for  the  improvement  of  English education  and  more  scientific  design  of  the  test  paper  for  CSET  was  provided.  To  be specific, in classroom teaching teachers should emphasize the discourse teaching in real language context or situation and the cultivation of students’ reading strategies. For the reform  of  test  papers,  task-based  items  and  life-related  topics  were  proposed  to  be designed.  Other  scholars  inspected  the  content  validity  of  reading  comprehension.  Xu Jiayong  (2013),  according  to  the  Test  Specifications  for  Senior  Secondary  School Enrollment Examination in Beijing and the content validation approach by Liu Runqing and  Han  Baocheng  (2010),  gathered  evidence  from  relativity,  representativeness  and appropriateness  of  the  content  to  verify  the  validity  of  reading  comprehension  in Beijing’s  CSET  from  2010  to  2012.  He  revealed  that  these  reading  subtests  have relatively  high  validity,  but  the reading  material  should  be  more  authentic and  diverse, and the response format should be more feasible for further improvement of test quality.
