Is the Corporate Reputation a Decisive Factor for Master Job Seekers in China? 


Abstract
Corporate reputation is a relatively new field of study, which rises in the West in the fifties or sixties. It is mainly related to the definition, antecedents and consequences and the formation mechanism, and the composition of reputation. Another important part of the study is the measurement of corporate reputation, it relates to the application of corporate reputation theory in management practice. Some scholars in China are less in-depth study of this.
Based on the previous review of the literature, corporate reputation measurement needs to combine the components and their influencing factors, also needs from the start of individual stakeholders to measure the corporate reputation. Job seeker is special group between the range of general employees and the public, which is a vital role in the enterprise, and the quality of attracted job seekers has a direct impact on how the quality of its staff, but in the past literature they are less from this point of view on the evaluation of corporate reputation. Therefore, this dissertation is from the perspective of job seekers to evaluate https://www.51lunwen.org/  the corporate reputation for the purpose of discussing on the components and influencing factors of job seeker’s corporate reputation, and ultimately get an evaluation model of corporate reputation from the perspective of job seeker.
First, through the collation of evaluation literature on the previous corporate reputation home and abroad, it has obtained the evaluation model factors of job seeker’s corporate reputation and its explicit measurement. On this basis, it has formed the evaluation questionnaires of job seeker’s corporate reputation, and selected a sample survey of IT industry. A large sample of data for statistical analysis are used to illustrate the hypotheses, and obtained the following conclusions:
The components of job seeker’s corporate reputation include the affective attraction and rational cognition. The factors influencing the job seeker’s perception on the corporate reputation have social responsibility, organizational culture, job attributes, market and financial performance, vision and leadership, and familiarity, in which the factors influencing the affective components of job seeker’s corporate reputation include social responsibility, organizational culture, market and financial performance, vision and leadership, and familiarity; the factors influencing the rational cognition of job seeker’s corporate reputation include the market and financial performance, vision and leadership, and job attributes. Between the influencing factors and components was tested to be positive relationship.
