1.1 Research Background
众所周知,语言是社会文化的载体和最重要的沟通方式。学习一门语言的意图是轻松地交流思想和感情,我们应该提高学习其他语言的能力,如果我们想更好地沟通。作为一种重要的语言技能,听力在语言学习以及语言沟通的一种重要的作用。正如我们都知道,听力是语言学习的基础,也有能力来识别和理解的语言。听力理解的关键和前提是要培养学生的流利的英语口语和交际技能。如今,听力一直特别关注,越来越多的外国语言学者,听力教学中变得越来越重要,在高中,因为它NMET中起着重要的作用。
高中教师的主要任务是培养学生的四种基本语言技能:听,说,读,写,并提高学生的交际能力。
It is well known that language is the carrier of social culture and the most important wayof communication. The intention of learning a language well is to communicate thoughts andfeelings easily, and we should improve the ability of learning other languages if we want tocommunicate better. As an important language skill, listening comprehension plays animportant role in language learning as well as language communication. As we all know,listening is the basis of language learning and also the ability to identify and understandlanguage. The key and premise of listening comprehension is to cultivate students' fluent oralEnglish and communicative skills. Nowadays, listening comprehension has been of particularinterest to more and more foreign language scholars, and listening teaching becomes moreand more important in senior high schools as it plays an important role in NMET.

Rivers founds out that in the process of communicative activity, the time taken bylistening, speaking, reading and writing is 45%, 30%, 16%, and 9%. Anderson and Lynch(1988:60) pointed out, ‘Listening is an essential skill for communication’. The students insenior school often find that the listening skill is the most difficult in the four basic languageskills. Because of the complex process of listening comprehension and transient listeninginformation, listening is one of the most difficult skills, and it is also a big barrier to masterthe language. Listening, one of the main ways of language inputting, is the important way tolearn language. Listening is the core of the communicative activities and the foundation of theother three language skills. Thus the listening course is an indispensable part of Englishteaching, and the quality of the listening course directly affects students' language acquisition,the level of practical ability training and the basic skills of language training. Listening playsan important role in information communication and language learning. The common concernof foreign language teachers is how to improve foreign language learners’ listeningcomprehension effectively. Many foreign language teachers and researchers have make a lotof researches for the tasks, and to some degree have original ideas, which will promote thereform and development of listening teaching.
It is generally thought that Chinese students are especially good at grammar, but they arepoor at listening. When listening to the tape, students can understand the meaning of wordseasily rather than the whole dialogue.
