摘要:本文是高中英语教学论文,通过数据分析可得出结论,在初中使用思维导图辅助英语教学方法能够激发学生学习英语的兴趣和热情,提高学生阅读能力和策略,加强学生对关键信息的长时记忆,并且拓展学生的发散思维能力。
The author conducted the pre-questionnaire both in experimental class and the control class so as to understand the students’ reading abilities and interests as well as the teaching situation. The author also conducted post-questionnaire in EC to understand the effectiveness of applying Mind Map into English reading teaching.Sixty questionnaires delivered to students and 60 pieces were taken back in the pre-questionnaire. To make sure the authenticity of the results, the questionnaire involved in three aspects: 1. the reading interests and reading abilities of students. 2. The reading habits and reading skills of students. 3. The teaching methods of English teachers and the students’ attitudes toward the teaching method. The author analyzed the data as follows: There are 5 items about the general situation and students’ interest of English reading. There are 4 choices of each item. According to the results of the options, we can find students have not too much interest in English reading before experiment. The students who have much more interests in English reading learning only accounted 35% of the total while the answers of dislike and so so are 65%. The interest is the greatest motivation of English learning. From the data, we can make sure that the students’ reading interests need to be improved urgently. We are all clear that English learning is pretty important to students. However, the students who take the reading as important part or more important part are about 59.7%, only half of the total. In the process of English learning, there are many reasons which result in reading passage difficultly, such as the lack of related background knowledge, and the dimness of the passage structure. The main difficulties of reading are the new words and the complex sentences. For the main aim of English reading learning, the students who take the new words memory and the grammar learning as the main purpose, which account for 51.7%. When we read a passage, we can get much useful information such as the social culture of authentic language countries, some common sense and philosophy of life and other useful knowledge, which will influence students a lot.
