1.2 Research significance and purpose 
The main purposes of English writing teaching are to enhance writing ability and improve  writing  level.  Students’  listening,  speaking,  reading  and  writing  interacted each  other,  therefore,  students’  writing  ability  is  beneficial  for  the  improvement  of English  learning  ability.  First  of  all,  writing ability  is  helpful  for  students  to  develop their listening ability. The reason is that writing can make students familiar with more words, which may also appear in listening part. And, the ability of organizing passage that  has  been  cultivated  in  writing  is  also  favorable  to  understand  interpersonal utterance  in  listening  material.  Secondly,  the  improvement  of  writing  ability contributes  to  the  development  of  speaking  ability,  because  both  of  them  belong  to language  output  and  can  promote  each  other  mutually.  Generally  speaking,  students who  do  well  in  writing  are  good  at  speaking.  What’s  more,  writing  and  reading supplement  each  other,  in  which  the  former  is  language  expression,  the  latter  is language understanding, and both of them are not only the learning product, but also the  learning  process.  There  is  a  saying  “learn  English  via  writing”,  which  means writing  is  a  process  to  discover,  know  and  even  change  the  world  and  yourselves. Thus,  it  can  be  seen  that  attaching  importance  to  English  writing  teaching  is  an important channel to enhance English teaching quality.
