Conclusion.

The empirical study has shed some light on English writing teaching andlearning，other language skill developments as well. Besides, still many thoughtfulimplications for further study need pointing out here.Some aspects are worthy of being explored in further study: (1) which specificlexica】 chunk(s) will be most predictive to which specific writing aspect(s); (2) whichspecific lexical chunk(s) will be most accelerative to improve which specific aspect(s)in writing ability; (3) which specific strategies in MS or CS are most helpful topromote which kind of lexical chunk learning.In this study，lexical chunks consist of collocations(C)，discourse device (DD)，topic-related lexica] chunks (TR), phrasal constraints and sentence frames (PC&SF)，institutionalized utterances (lU), and total lexical chunks (TLC). And those writingaspects are taken into consideration in this paper: clarity, correctness, conciseness,completeness, and courteousness, i.e."5C". In this study, it has been verified thatlexical chunk approach is an effective way of guiding and promoting students'learning in writing. Students' writing ability has been strengthened efficaciously.
Dueto the time limitation, further study, if possible, should go further to collect moreone-hand materials from participants, discovering the correlation between specificlexica] chunk and specific writing aspect，so that participants' one or several weakwriting aspects can be compensated and reinforced in the way of enlarging the inputand output of specific lexical chunk(s) which have the closest correlation with thatspecific writing aspect(s).
