I have been teaching the students who are in their third year of a junior middle school. Through my teaching, the students can get high scores in examinations, but I’ve found there are still some of problems: Most of my students are not good at catching up with the main meaning of the reading text. This problem has troubled me for some time. I discuss the problem with my tutor Mrs.Zhang, she encouraged me and agreed this project, so I planned my teaching time and make the project timetable like below. .I hope I can solve this problem through the action research so that I can apply my knowledge and theory into practice, which I learned from Anqing TV University. I want to improve the students’ reading abilities by training major reading skills.
I’m going to spend several weeks to design a project and carry it out in my classroom. The following is my project timetable.
