heir disciples, developed in the twentieth century,as the ‘new hermeneutics’” ( Leith, 1988: 187).Heidegger’s hermeneutics thoughts are mainly embodies in his Being and Time (1926)and his contributions to philosophical hermeneutics are in the following respects:First, his theories lead to the shift of hermeneutics from the methodologicalhermeneutics to ontological hermeneutics, providing theoretical basis for Gadamer’sphilosophical hermeneutics. Second, his understanding of ontological hermeneutics and thehistoricity of understanding play an important role in Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneuticswhich in fact is the explanation of the two principles. As Selden said, “Gadamer’s magnumopus Truth and Method (1960; Wahrheit und Methode) can be considered an explication andexpansion of the most important passages on hermeneutics in Being and Time (Selden, 1995:263). In the book Truth and Method, Gadamer himself also thought his thoughts as theinheritance and development of Heidegger’s philosophical hermeneutics (Hong Handing ，2001b: 211-2).

The research abroad pays attention to the radical and religious conflicts.Miki Flockemann (2008) in his article studied the complicit refugee and cosmopolitans.David Jefferess(2009) argued on the basis of ethics, combing with the theme ofcosmopolitanism and humanitarianism. He managed to turn his attention from nation and raceas the primary factors making up of political community and identity to the idea of the“modern” for judging the “human” beings, considering novel as an allegory of global ethnics.Some scholars abroad do research from the cultural point. For example, in the article “‘EpicPoetry’ and ‘The kite Runner’: Paradigm of Cultural Identity in Fiction and Afghan Society’”,Shafig Shamel (2007) tried to analyze it on the basis of the cultural identity. There are stillsome scholars, for example Mashael Al-Sudeary from Princess Norah University studying itfrom the history standpoint. In addition, Hefner April (2007) published his article “The Ethicsof Painful Reading: Suffering as Means to Redemption, Insight and Hope in ‘Beloved’ ‘Maus’and ‘The Kite Runner” focusing on the theme of salvation.Compared with the literary review abroad, the studies at this novel have developedsignificantly. After the book gains great success in China, there are plenty of studies that havebeen carried on it and most of them are in the literary field. Many of them are from theperspective of literature like betray and redemption(Jiang Xiaoling, 2010; ZhangHongmin,2011), image of the kite(Wang Jianrong, 2009), the theme of the novel(LiChongling, 2009), the psychology of the character Amier(Zheng Suhua, 2015).
