A Study on Brand Awareness in Children 1. Introduction Based on the definition from dictionary, ethics is a general term for what is often described as the “science (study) of morality”. In philosophy, ethical behaviour is explain and described what is “good” or “bad”. Marketing ethics is to apply ethics which deals with the moral behind the operation and regulation of marketing. There are many ethical perspectives such as natural law, self interest and utilitarianism. This paper will discuss the self interest and utilitarianism in relation to the brand awareness in children.
Brand is a symbol and it represents the company. It connects the customer and company. We can seem brand as human; it will also get positive and negative feedback from others. In addition, it can gain investment, loans on the basis of its credit in order to change the environment. As human’s behaviour will be limited and related to the human ethics such as natural law, human will feel what is right what is wrong. Human cannot steal and lie, these are against the human nature. Besides being a very important part of the market environment, brand, like human, also needs to follow the ethics.
