摘要:This is a step to examine the effectiveness of the marketing campaign. Even if we already do a lot of research and put a lot of efforts in it, there is always something that can be improved in the marketing campaign. For instance, some other advertising media are more suitable than that we currently choose. And the specific discount that we offer in the sales promotion is needed to adjust. By the customer satisfaction and performance evaluation, we can know better the promotion and improve it. To do the customer satisfaction and performance evaluation, questionnaires, the occupancy rate and hotel revenue can be considered as the optional standard.

As showed in table 1, the amount of local GDP in Sanya is RMB 7.421 billion in 2005. The figure increases up to RMB 14.431 million in 2008, which is almost double more than it in 2005. The growth rate is amazing even in China. In 2009, in the global economical environment of recession, the growth rate of GDP is still up high to 17.2%, which builds up a new record of growth rate. 
The composition of industry in Sanya also changes. All three industries (primary industry, secondary industry & tertiary industry) increase on absolute quantity of monetarily amount to different degree. However, taken altogether for the past 5 years, the share of GDP in primary and secondary industry that mainly include agriculture and construction tends to decrease. So does the contribution ratio of GDP in primary and secondary industry. In contrast, the tertiary industry keeps increasing constantly for the last 5 year no matter on the absolute quantity of monetarily amount or the share and contribution ratio of GDP. The service industry has always been the main industry in Sanya for years. In 2008, the contribution of GDP in service industry had increased to 72.5%, which took 53.7% of GDP. (Table 2)

In Sanya, the main component of service industry is tourism. As one of the most famous tourist cities in china, Sanya attracts numerous people to visit from the places all over the world for the beautiful beach and the amazing tropical landscape. It also has a vivid and suitable name title “Oriental Hawaii”. The figures of tourists and tourism revenue in table 3 demonstrate the booming development of tourism there.
