1. Why are you seeking to pursue your MBA programme now in relation to

My long-term career goal is to be a technical manager.

2(a). Describe your most significant work-related achievement and explain

2(b). Describe a difficult situation where you demonstrated leadership skills
to achieve a positive outcome. (400 words)

Because of cost control, we can't hire more people for new project although we still need 2 more engineers in Singapore development team. We discussed it formonths with project management team. However, no decision can be made. In such a tough situation, I initially aligned testing activities with region application team in US and EU and raised the point of working as a united testing team in development team and application team in order to save testing effort and meet the testing target both in development team and application team.

This suggestion is accepted by application team both in EU and US. We organized a several days' workshop www.51lunwen.com in Singapore to discuss the details about how to work as a united testing team for new project. Test scope review, test tool alignment and test schedule alignment were made both in Singapore, EU and US team before the time to confirm project time line. Finally, my creative idea is quite helpful to this project, it's fully recognized by the project management team.

3(b). Describe a situation where your values, ethics or morals were
challenged and how did you handle the situation. (400 words)

When I was hired as test validation leader by BUH group of Philips electronics, I was told it's a new and challenged role. Indeed, it is. Because of its new and the complicated organization, someone doubts my values at the first beginning.

However, I didn't give up because of this. Under the support of

 my boss, I learn our products, know our current testing process and method, visit the teams I need to work closely in India and EU, even visit testing team in another group to know more about how they manage the testing activities and control product quality successfully. After several months hardworking, I improved and defined test validation procedure for our group which is highly recognized by our big management team. My first step helps me to winapplause from my colleagues.

Afterwards, I tried my best to make good planning and align testing activities between different site in order to support development team to resolve issues as soon as possible. Finally, project management team was deeply touched by my job.
