n 2: Business Activities
For the business activities, the Coca-Cola company are involve in sparkling, still beverages, carbonated waters and flavored waters. The PepsiCo company is mainly involve in snacks, carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, and foods worldwide. From the report of these companies, I find the companies are not divided the revenue by the activities, while divided by the area. Table 1 shows the breakdown of their business as a percentage of revenue.
Section 3: Financial Analysis
In this section , I will analyze the financial of these two companies, and compare these two companies. The financial analyze cover three years, from 2006 to 2008, and I mainly collect the financial data from the annual general reports of each company, which are available for download from their websites,  The financial analyze include both the Income Statement and Balance Sheet and will make appropriate use of horizontal, vertical, trend and ratio analysis for comparing the companies.
Horizontal Analysis
This is a procedure to compare ratios or line items in a company’s financial statements over a certain period of time. The key here is to compare over a time period in order to see the changes taking place. This is a useful method of comparing performance of two or more companies 1.in this report, the horizontal analysis are mainly cover the three years’ financial performance of these two companies.

Actually when I analysis the Income Statement horizontal, I only analysis some items, which I think are very important for the companies analysis, the results as follow:
