Abstract
Marriage is a complex social phenomenon which is affected by many social factors, through the study of marital problems, it can understand the situation of a social to a certain extent. China is a traditionally family-oriented country, but a recent study found that more and more Chinese young people did not like to get married, the change in attitude towards marriage was caused by the factors of many aspects of Chinese society. This article tried to explore the issue of Chinese marriage, so as to acquire a more clear understanding of Chinese society. On the basis of relevant literatures, this article attempted to explain the reasons for Chinese people’s late marriage from three aspects: policy, cost and concepts. Through the multiple regression analysis towards the results of the survey it found that, policy factors, cost factors and concept factors have an impact on Chinese people’s attitude towards marriage, among the factors, cost factors have the most impact, policy factors have the less impact and concept factors have the slightest impact. The first part of this article was introduction. The second part was literature review. The third part was methodology. The fourth part was results, the fifth part was discussion and the sixth part was conclusion.

Introduction
• Background
In human history, there have been group marriage, pairing marriage, monogamy, etc. However, marriage has never depends only on individual pReferences and will, it was more affected by social systems, customs and culture (Singh and Morley, 2011). Since China's reform and opening up in 1978, the marriage of Chinese people has shown the status which was inconsistent with the traditional situation. A report which was named ‘Analysis and Prediction on China’s Social Situation in 2010’ and jointly published by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Social Sciences Documentation Publishing House noted that the number of married people who have been registered in China continued to decrease, the age of first marriage was significantly delayed. Lipatov et al (2011) considered that Chinese young people’ late s marriage was the inevitable concomitant of the social phenomenon in the process when China was transformed from traditional to modern society, it was the product of social change and social progress. But its emergence triggered a series of social problems. Large-scale phenomena of young people’s late marriage or they were not willing to get married directly brought the crisis of population structure - an aging population. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the reasons for Chinese people’s late marriage and how based on the reasons to adjust the public policies, such as population policy and social security policy, therefore, to deal with related issues is particularly necessary.
