Culture arises due to several reasons. One of the main reasons is religion. We can see a lot of religions in the world. If we plan to start a business in another country we should initially analyze their cultural aspects like, beliefs, attire, food habits, mannerisms etc. Say for example if a person wants to start a Restaurant business in UAE, a Muslim country. They will eat only halal meat. So we are obliged to provide that to the customers there. Otherwise it might be a big problem for the entrepreneur and unintentionally he might end up scoffing them. Another example in this setting would be the issue of the weekend holiday. Friday is the day when the weekend usually occurs in the Muslim world. This is due to their religious influence on their lifestyle. Whereas in all other parts of the world Saturdays and Sundays are the usual weekends. Fridays are considered by most Muslims as a day of prayer. For the Christian world, this usually falls on Sundays. Keeping this in mind, the entrepreneur must consider these aspects when he is contemplating the weekend. This will greatly influence the popularity and success of his restaurant in the gulf region.
