4.1 Data Analysis of Questionnaire

As described above, the questionnaire is divided into two parts: the first before the blended learning of this semester and the second after the final examination of this semester. Based on the Likert scale, some options of questions in the questionnaire will be evaluated, the scoring situation of each question will be calculated, and the results will be analyzed. The scoring criteria is as follows:

The two parts of the questionnaire have both similarities and differences. After statistical calculation and comparison of the results of the two questionnaires, the students' self-assessment of English reading level, the degree of willingness of students learning English reading, students' interest in English reading and their acceptance of traditional or such new blended learning methods are investigated and compared to obtain the results.

Chapter Five Conclusion

5.1 Major Findings

After one semester of blended learning experiments, the main findings of this study are summarized below. 1. The blended learning method has little effect on improving students' interest in English reading learning. 2. Practice the English reading reasoning ability of middle school students through the blended learning method can improve the academic performance of middle school students in the reading part of the English test. 3. Most middle school students hold positive attitude towards the implement of the blended learning method.  

For the first question, what effect does the blended learning method have on middle school students' interest in English reading----the results of this blended learning experiment show that the effect is not great. The author believes that the reasons why experimental results are different from others’ are as follows: 1. The experiment time is too short and there is only one semester 2.
