摘要:在英语学习中,许多同学费了很大的劲去学,但是仍然学不好。究其原因,是学习方法不当和自身的学习风格所造成的。每个学生都有他们自己独特的学习风格,但是这些学习风格也有着自身的优势和弱势。

学习风格与学习策略的相关研究

具有某种学习风格的学生就有了在学习某方面知识的一些困难。如何帮助这些学生弥补他们的缺陷,就成为困扰老师们的一个难题。有多位学者曾提到过通过学习策略的培训来拓展学生的学习风格,但是未有实验来证明这种方法是否在我们的课堂中可以实现。
1.Introduction
1.1 Research background
Research on learning strategies started from 70’s of last century,and the number of it was increasing rapidly in recent 30 years.However,the scholars and researchers always stressed the effect of learning styles or learning strategies in language learning.
Many researches had been done to the college students on language strategy training and learning styles,but few research of learning styles and strategies had done to the senior high students.The senior high students have learnt English for several years,but they did not learn language strategies and knew little about their learning styles.In addition,at this stage the students should learn a lot of words,phrases,grammars and so on.If they don't have a good method of learning a foreign language,they will feel confused and lose confidence on learning English.
It is a fact that most of the senior high students have difficulty in learning English,for example,some find words and phrases were difficult to remember,and some find grammar more difficult,and some may feel the listening,writing,speaking or reading were hard to learn. Therefore,in order to help the senior high students learn more easily and know the best way to learn English,this research was done to find out the answer.
1.2 Significance of the study
In recent years,the relationship between learning strategy and learning style became more and more popular.Many researchers paid much attention to it,and during this process, the English teaching promoted.And the English learning and teaching became more important. However,nearly all of the researchers focused on the relationship between the two or the effect of learning styles on some aspects of English learning.
There are no such things as good or bad learning styles and those who learn English have their own learning styles which have their advantages and disadvantages.Therefore,there are two ways to adapt the different learning styles to the students'differences.The first way is that the teachers adopt the matching strategies to the students'own learning styles,and the second one is that the teachers adopt the opposite ones.Of course,the former benefits to the students'temporary improvements but it can't make up the shortcomings of the students.On the contrary,the latter may affect the learning efficiency at first.However,during a period of training,it will help the students improve their psychological competences and make up the deficiency of their learning styles.So under the class-based teaching patterns for the present, the aims of analysing the students'learning styles are not only to comply with different styles of each student but also to cultivate the appropriate and efficient learning styles of all the students.
