5.1 Theoretical Implication
As a matter of fact, with the social development, the standard of language should be adjusted to adapt to the corresponding pace. China English has not got the attentionit deserves. The view of just taking BE or AE as Standard English ignores theobjective existence of English varieties and restrict the development of Englishlearners’ application ability. The established language standard should be flexible anddiverse. It is easy to find out that in the process of English teaching for English majors,British English or American English is generally regarded as the Standard English.However, the worldwide spread of Chinese culture and the overwhelming of specificsocial phenomena nowadays have led to a hot topic of the diverse standard of English.China English flourishes not only because China’s status has ascended to a higherlevel in international society, but also because some popular traditional culture such asConfucius has really drummed up many foreigners’ interest.

Conclusion

The internationalization of English makes English language shift from the singleand homogeneous “traditional Standard English” to “World Englishes”. As aninternational language tool, English is playing an increasingly important role inworldwide communication at present. The contact and fusion process of English andother languages foster the nativization of English universally, after which manyEnglish varieties come into being. British English and American English are no longerrecognized to be sole Standard English, but only two kinds of English varieties inBritain and the United States. China English is the outcome of English’s localizationin China, which is a full embodiment of the inclusiveness and innovation of English.The relative mature theories of world Englishes and language variety lay thetheoretical basis for the study. The creative China English is a good compromise ofEnglish learning and recognizing Chinese cultural identity. China English variety canbe applied to introduce particular Chinese ideas to the whole world if used properly. Itis a combination of English linguistic rules and unique Chinese phenomena in politics,economy and society. China English is an essential component of the expanding circleof world Englishes according to Kachru’s three concentric circles. Besides, theadaptation theory and the culture identity are also significant theoretical basis toaffirm the study.
