Conclusion


For future research, the author will start with the following three aspects:
First, this article is about the application of mind mapping to promote the students'word recognition. We will carry out a series of independent research and experimentin class to prove whether it can be applied to a different level of knowledge, such aspromoting English grammar, listening and reading ability .
Second, verify the experiment further. This experiment is aimed mainly at thefourth grade elementary school students. While for English teaching and learning ofthe other grades in elementary school or middle school, and high school students, canmind mapping be still effective? It needs further study.
Third, in this experiment, the English word mapping was mainly drawn by hand,assisted by software mapping. In the future word teaching, the students will beencouraged to draw the mapping with software if they have mastered the basicproficiency of drawing mapping by hand.
