Chapter 4 Conclusion
The paper introduced the contents of LTE system’s security aspects, and investigates the security direction of LTE system. 3GPP LTE system should provide more advanced security mechanism than 2G/GSM and 3G/UMTS. It means that many mechanisms which are used by 3G/UMTS may become solutions which are used to at present to cope with the threats and attacks. In the meantime, 3GPP LTE system should provide new security algorithms and protocols which are related with user-network and network domain security.
