ogical and managerial advancement (Hoegl & Gemuenden2001). In this new environment, it can be seen clearly that a business organization needs to respond to different situations in a flexible way to adjust its developing strategies to the changes brought about by specific economic conditions. – review meaning. As a result,, modern managers should try to ensure that they integrate these managerial theories into their practical management. Thus, in a very real sense, the managerial behaviour of an organization’s leaders can considered to be the behaviour of the whole organization as a whole.
2. A brief history of Starbucks
The history of Starbucks can be dated back to the early 1970s when  the first Starbucks shop was opened in Seattle by Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegl and Gordon Bowker. The initial motivation of these people was to provide fresh coffee to  consumers. With this intention, they opened a very small shop in Seattle and began to sell fresh-roasted and gourmet coffee beans. The service proved to be successful from the very beginning and they decided to enlarge the scope of business.

In 1982, Howard Schultz was hired by Baldwin as the new head of marketing and he  introduced an Italian-style coffee making and coffee consumption environment, based on practices from Verona. This proved to be successful for the future development of Starbucks. The new launching of a coffee house of Schultz attracted more than 700 customers a day. – this part is not well linked to the preceding – review and add explanation.  In 1987 the owners of Starbucks sold the business together with the brand name for $3.7 million to Shultz, who changed the Starbucks roasting shops into elegant and comfortable coffee houses. It is in that year that Starbucks business began to take shape – what do you mean? Surely, it ‘started to take shape’ in the early 70s when the first store was opened – perhaps you mean the ‘modern Starbucks business’ or something like this? Starting from a base of 17 stores in 1987, the company quickly expanded its business to other cities in the United States such as Chicago, Portland and Vancouver and  in 1992, the company went public. The global expansion of its business began in the late 1990s, with stores being opened in Japan, Singapore and China. Nowadays, Starbucks has stores in 40 countries. Apart from Starbucks coffee, there is also an entertainment division which is concerned with books, music and movies.
3. The role of organizational behaviour in  Starbucks global development  strategy
Starbucks has a relatively short history. However, it has expanded into a large international business organization which has outlets in 40 countries across the world. It is relevant to ask how Starbucks was able to develop at such a high speed.  In such a traditional industry as  the retail coffee shop, the remarkable success of Starbucks really implies a lot of significant things – what do you mean? This is very vague – review meaning. Indeed, it can be argued that an  effective managerial philosophy has been the basis for its marketing success. This managerial philosophy is based on the concept of Staff First, Customers Second.

This is perhaps a surprising business slogan in an era when customer satisfaction is considered to be the most important element in the success of a modern business. The slogan of Staff First, Customers Second is very simple and straight-forw论文英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写英语论文代写代写论文代写英语论文代写留学生论文代写英文论文留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
