ncrease the organizational strength, using three behavioural concepts: the construction of organizational culture, the construction of the organizational structure and also the adoption of effective motivational methods. The implementation of these three concepts ensures that the company is well placed to continue to be one of the most influential coffee retailers in the world with a specific coffee culture. Of these three methods, organizational culture may be considered as the most important. Then what is the main feature of Starbucks as an organization? There seems little doubt, from what has been discussed above, that the emphasis on the interests of the employees is placed at the centre of the organizational culture of Starbucks. This is because senior managers know that customer satisfaction is the key to the market success for any company and they achieve this through the construction of an organizational culture, which attempts to ensure that employees are happy working in the special company environment. This in turn allows Starbucks to achieve its marketing goals, as contented employees are more likely to provide a high quality service to customers.
4. Conclusion
To sum up, Starbucks’ market success lies in the rational organizational behaviour that pays special attention to the construction of a specific working environment and business culture, based on the modern organizational managerial theory. The success of this model is globally recognised. One of the main reasons that Starbucks has been able to develop from a small coffee shop into world-famous corporation is because of this organization managerial philosophy that is based on the combination of market expansion and the construction of a special business culture. At present , Starbucks can be considered as an example of an outstanding business with low rates of employee turnover and also a highly effective market performance. The case of Starbucks shows that effective motivation of staff is one of the most key factors for the success of a modern international business organization. To put it another way, it can be argued that Starbucks success lies in the principle of respecting its staff. Therefore, in this sense, the respect for employees can be considered as equally important as the realization of marketing goals. This is the main conclusion that can be drawn from the case study of Starbucks.
