摘要:中北大学英语专业开题报告范文-《从社会语言学角度分析马丁•伊登不同职业时期的语言特点》

1.结合毕业论文情况,根据所查阅的文献资料,撰写2000字左右的文献综述:
Literature Review
I. Topic sentence
As we all know, language is a dynantic system. Any language is not absolutely uniform, it always stays at gradually changing along the time, place and the environment. Language varieties mainly have three situations: (1) the regional ang social backgroungs of the speakers; (2) the practical scene causes the speech act; (3) the topic about which is talked . Generally speaking, language variation can be divided three types: namely regional variation, social variation, and functional variation. This thesis, we will talk about the language variation in the novel-Martin Eden and analysis the linguistic features of him during his different occupations.
II. Defination of main terms
2.1  Defination of Sociolinguistics
Sociolinguistics studies the relations between language and society: how social factors influence the structures and use of language. It studies such matters as the linguistic identity of social groups, social attitudes to language, standard and non-standard forms of language, the patterns and needs of national language use, and so on. Another name for sociolinguistics is the sociology of language. Linguistic and social problems are so closely related that linguistics itself has sometimes been regarded as a “social” science. So here, I have a sentence to define it as: Sociolinguistics is the sub discipline of linguistics that studies language in social contexts.
2.2  Defination of Language Variation
Given that linguistic performance is essentially a social phenomenon and context-dependent behavior, language use varies from one speech community to another, from one regional group to another, from one social group to another, and even from one individual to another. The goal of socio linguistics thus is to explore the nature of language variation and language use among a variety of speech communities and in different social situations.
2.3  Defination of regional variation
Regional variation is speech variation according to the particular geographical area where a speaker comes from. A speech variety is an instance of regional variation when it is distinguishable from any other linguistic system of a different geographical location. Geographical barriers are the major source of regional variation of language. Other reasons of such variation include loyalty to one's native speech and physical and psychological resistance to change.
2.4  Defination of social variation
While an individual from a particular geographical area speaks with an accent, that person's speech may also contain a number of features which are related not in any way to regional variation, but to social variation. Two people who were born and brought up in the same town and speak the same regional dialect may speak different social dialects because of a number of social factors.
III. Disscuss
In this part, we will talk about the linguistic features in the view of sociolinguistics. And we also have some points blong to pre-linguisters on this question.
Martin Eden in his first time to go Ruth’s home and had talked with her, they had such dialogs:
“You have such a scar on your neck, Mr. Eden”, the girl was saying. “How did it happen? I am sure it must have been some adventure.”
“A Mexican with a knife, miss, ”he answered, moistening his parched lips and clearing hip throat. “It was just a fight. After I got the knife论文英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写英语论文代写代写论文代写英语论文代写留学生论文代写英文论文留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
