5.2 Recommendations


There are a lot of different aspects which is needed to be focused for the international selection process with the changing technology and with the passage of time. First of all the technology has brought such a change in the global world that the cultural differences has been almost diminishing between the countries and the organizations should look in to this matter seriously that all their employees and workers are aware of this fact that they should know the culture of other countries as well so that if there is need of expatriate or international manager then there will be no problem for the organization to select them.


So there should be some awareness of international experience for the local mangers as well.


The corporate culture matters a lot for the growth of any organization, every organization has its own corporate culture which keeps them unique and separate from other organization. There should be a corporate culture which should be the same in all the multinational organizations all over the world, that will make the selection process of international mangers easier for the organizations and the managers and expatriate going to other countries for assignments will not have any problems to adjust in different country’s environment and culture. There is no doubt in this that most of the time geographical and weather situation affects the culture of any country but even then there are many things which can be same in all the organizations in all over the world.


Change is always necessary for any organization to gain competitive advantage in the global market as science and technology is bringing change very rapidly and every minute world is changing so the organizations should consider this factor as well during the selection process, and should use such tools and techniques which are new and more up to dated and which can give them better advantage and help them to achieve goals and targets of organization.


The mutual corporation of different organizations also helps a lot in developing mutual ventures which can help the employees to communicate with each other, their working style and environment, their culture and their corporate culture which they use within their company. This will help the managers and employee to gain more knowledge and more abilities which they can apply within their company or organization. This will also reduce the cultural gap between the multinational companies, which will be helpful for the multinational organizations in future.


As every organization is part of social society and they should consider the factor of corporate social responsibility while selecting an expatriate for international assignments.
