摘要:随着多媒体技术的迅速发展,多媒体辅助外语教学作为一种全新的现代外语教学技术,在外语教学中已经得到越來越广泛的应用。多媒体教学可以有效激发学生的学习兴趣,充分调动学生的学习主动性和积极性,从而改善学习效果,提高教学效率。

The present study will benefit all participants. For teachers,it will offer a better understanding of scaffolding instruction model and thus to teacheffectively in their future teaching process. For learners, it will enhance theirautonomous learning competence and improve their listening level. In addition, theresearch on scaffolding instruction applied to listening comprehension is compatibleto college English listening teaching reform and exploration in Honder College.

What are English teachers' and majors, attitudes towards multimedia-assistedlistening teaching?2. What is the status of multimedia applied in listening teaching class based onscaffolding instruction?3. What are the limitations of using multimedia in listening teaching based onscaffolding instruction?4. How to resolve the existing problems?


1.4 Overall structure of the thesis论文总体结构
The thesis consists of six chapters.In the first chapter, the research background, the purpose and significance of thestudy and research questions are introduced briefly.The second chapter is concerned with a literature review of definition of therelated terms and the previous studies of the research.The third chapter is the theoretical foundation.Chapter four is the methodology, including participants, instruments and datacollection and analysis.Chapter five involves the results and discussions from questionnaires, interviewsand class observation.The last chapter summarizes the major findings and puts forward pedagogicalimplications and suggestions as well as limitations of the study for furtherconsideration.
