Also it claims that “College English's goal is to develop students'competence to use English in a comprehensive way，especially in listening and speaking, so asto communicate with high efficiency in their future studies and careers as well as socialinteractions, and meanwhile improve their competence to study independently and improvetheir common sense of culture". According to the above statement, we obviously know thatI English listening is increasing more vital in English learning as a foreign language. A higherrequirement of studying independently is rising.
