摘要:为了解决在调查中发现的当今大学生在英语学习中存在的问题,我们需要改变学生的观念,提高他们的学习意识,塑造学生的归因,失败归咎于缺乏努力和战略,同时也需要给予一定的反馈;其次就是激发学生的内在兴趣,进行有趣的课堂教学,创造课外学习环境和改革考核制度;最后需完善学生的学习自主性,包括心理准备和技术准备。

4.2.3 Aspects of Motivation Influence on English Study
Most of students think that motivation has affected the effectiveness, because good motivation will lead to the best result in learning.
English major students: I study in foreign language college, so we have best teachers to teach us in learning. We didn’t need pay morn attention on how to learn English, we have good environment and if we listen to the teachers, we will succeed.
Non-English major student 1: I think good motivation will relate to effectiveness directly, because you have motivation at first, and then make specific strategy, according to your suitable plan and you must gain the best effectiveness.
Non-English major student 2: During my English learning, explicit motivation is just like good attitude to face the English learning, if you don’t know why you choose this subject to learn, you don’t know how to learn it well.
Those students who have good motivation will be hard working and go to find the way to success actively. Motivation influences our attitude, if our motive is positive and we will get good result in learning; and at the same time, if our motive is negative, we will do everything carelessly. Motivation is the power and influences the strategy and effectiveness, so positive motivation is the root of attitude, strategy and effectiveness.
4.2.4 Satisfaction of Effectiveness of English Learning
In the university, examination is the important method to test effectiveness of learning, thus the score is the way to show your result. English majors use TEM 4 and TEM 8 to prove their specialized ability; Non-English majors use CET 4 and CET 6 to show their English level.
English major students: Most of our classmates have passed TEM 4, and we just have attended the exam of TEM 8 and don’t know the result. We can say, we have got good effectiveness after training course.
Non-English major student 1: To me, I know what I need in my English learning, I have to do some exercises actively, and put English in my major to improve my international ability. I think my English is better and better, because I know what I want.
Non-English major student 2: Our English teacher has chosen a lot of exercises to help us to get ready for TEM 4 and TEM 6; we can pass the exam easily. I think this is the power to lead me to pass the exam, I know the importance of this certificate.
Non-English major student 3: Not everyone needs English when we are going to work in society, I don’t think we must learn foreign languages. This system should be changed in our country, my English level is very bad, I don’t want to learn and I needn’t learn.
Most of students are sure to know the importance of English now, and they have paid attention to improving their knowledge in this area. They were satisfied with their effectiveness of English learning. However, some students don’t want to learn English. This kind of students do not have good effectiveness in English learning. English is the society need and will be the mark in this period.
