Many social psychology analyses proved that one person could easily recognize her or his own social identity and others. The second element is identification. It is the necessary feature to maintain ourselves being same with the ingroup members and different from the outgroups. Comparison is the third component for social identity, by which people could conclude the difference between their groups and other groups. It helps to produce the favorable bias to the people and their own groups (Mussweiler, et al. 2000). Fashion and Appearance

Fashion becomes the most popular word in the industries of clothing, designing and photography, since it was invented. Usually, fashion is actualized and came true through the medium of appearance presence or photography showing (Breward and Gilbert, 2006). It always reflects the potential development trends of beauty, favorable style, taste and rational thought among the culture or society. Fashion trends mainly provide the aspects of appearance and construction of fashion products or services which dominate special season or times. As the saying of Roland Barthes, Fashion is never anything but an amnesiac substitution or trend of the present and the past popularity (Stella and Gibson, 2006). Perna (1978) explained that fashion is an expression of the times. It determinates the favors of consumers in the choice of products and services such as mobile phones, cars, clothing, and accessories (Barker, 1999). Specially, the definition of fashion is best explained based on the development of clothing design. Exactly, when people talk about the term of fashion, it is the fact that the fashion is often replaced by a synonym for example, adornment, style and dress. Indeed, the clothing industry becomes a popular vehicle to express fashion issues (Entwhistle and Rocamora, 2006). Thus, currently the fashion is primarily the special word for the clothing industry, although it may be composed of various components.

Today, the fashion industry plays a more and more significant role in global economy. It is estimated that in UK the fashion industry employed the fourth largest workers or designers. Many people put overwhelming interests on fashion industry including the production of fashion, fashion magazines and newspaper. For example, the fashion magazines such as Lucire, Hint Fashion magazine and Fashion increasing realized the fashion spread market and new trends (Entwhistle and Rocamora, 2006). In research field, many researchers such as Pamela Church Gibson, Breward, Barthes Roland, and Davids Fred also particularly carry out the study between the fashion industry and social identities (Gibson, 2006). Theoretic framework First importantly, the fashion itself is proved to be a significant academic area for social science. The theory research relating fashion and appearance with the social identities was studies widely over the years. Fashion clothing represents group of people’s typical group-image, social appraisal, and social judgment. Markus and Wurf (1987) argued that people would change their clothing habits, style or color while the social status changed.
