摘要:教师专业学习是由认知和情感方面。认知方面是指积极建设一个复杂的过程,包括教学的信念和信仰,以及教学知识。

mer refers to pedagogical knowledge and skills that can be applied into teaching,while the latter means teaching experience personally accumulated in teaching practice.He states that both professional and personal knowledge is necessary in teachingprofession. The combination of such two kinds of knowledge gives birth to a newunique knowledgeteacher education pedagogical knowledge,which is actually similarto PCK termed by Shulman in nature. In addition to research on general teachereducation, great efforts are made to explore the body of the core knowledge base in thefield of language teacher education.

Conclusion


It must be noted that this study has the following limitations.First, the empirical study was administered on a small scale. There were only 71valid samples available to analyze the relation between two affective factors一teacheranxiety and motivation and professional development of English teachers in seniormiddle schools. All subjects were from two senior middle schools in Yang Xian,Shaanxi. Therefore, research results are only applicable to local English teachers insenior middle schools in Yang Xian. The generalization of findings should beundertaken with great caution.
Another limitation to the study relates to the questionnaires used in theinvestigation. The scale for assessing students' perceptions of teachers' PCK wasemployed to reflect the degree of professional development of English teachers in seniormiddle schools. The initial purpose is to get more objective data about teacherprofessional development from the perspective of students instead of English teachers.However, it runs the risk of committing a logical fallacy of circular reasoning. It needsto be tested whether students' perception of teachers' PCK can truly indicate the level ofteacher professional development.
