4.1 Effects of self-regulation strategy training on metacognitive awareness
In this part, data from questionnaires about metacognitive self-regulation strategy knowledge and oral English performance both in pre-test and post-test are presented and discussed. By calculating the scores of the metacognitive self-regulation strategy questionnaires of the students in the two classes, the author compares the data of the control group and the experimental group before and after the experiment. The descriptive statistical data of CG and EG of Metacognitive self-regulation strategy Questionnaire before and after the training are also presented.
4.1.1 Overall analysis of metacognitive self-regulation training on metacognitive awareness
The data in this section are based on the pre-test and the post-test, as well as the metacognitive self-regulation questionnaires and oral English in experimental group and control group. The author compares the scores that students finished in the questionnaires of both groups. By calculating the scores, the comparison of the data from EG and CG can be drawn directly.
