摘要:留学生论文开题报告范文-留学生英文论文Proposal样本-comments with reference list:Exploration of leadership systems operating in hospitality industry-Organizations are in more changeable business world than ever before which makes environment business is running to be more uncertain and increasingly competitive.

riving for the delivery of perfect service and production to customers and the importance of leadership, they are still facing high turnover rate and a shortage of quality leaders like other fields. The result based on the study of 100 companies, shows that the development of leaders in-house can sustain organizational leadership, hence, it creates more possibilities for the ongoing development of the organizations (Kouzes and Posner.2003; Collins.1994). Another report (The Malcolm Balridge Criteria.2005 ) also indicates how to cultivate leaders and to develop a leadership system to ensure retention is the biggest challenge in hospitality industry. Other studies mentioned that leadership development as a system can built an environment in which everyone has a chance to grow and organization can improve collective learning development (Day.2001, Watson 2010). Previous studies do contribute to the development of leadership and leaders, there is few doing an in-depth research on a system approach of leaders’ development . Therefore, this study is going to exploring if there is a development system of leaders . If it is , what does it look like. The following factors could explain the meaning of the study. Firstly, although the concept of leadership by so many years research is more comprehensive, most of researches still focus on individual characteristics of leadership and few treat it as system, this study based on the concept of leadership system could bring new area to further study. Secondly, by exploring the development system of leaders in the whole leadership systems, for hospitality organizations it can provide conceptual framework to raise systematically leaders so that to sustain their leadership. Finally, the findings perhaps make a contribution to qualities and competences of leaders which match industrial requirements.

The aim and objectives of the study
The overall aim of this study is to explore the system of development of leaders applying in hospitality businesses.
In order to achieve the above aim, the study also need to:
1. investigate the way leaders are selected and developed
2. examine leader’s competencies in different level

methodology
Qualitative research with open-ended questions is effective to exploratory research, because it can prove initial respondents of participants and unanticipated area on a specific topic (Campell.1966 ). Relating to this character, qualitative approach is adopted by this study. Firstly, making an appointment with human resource directors by telephone or direct call-on; secondly, selecting10 of them from 5 local hotels and 5 from international hotels for semi-structure interview based on prepared questions which try to probe  and understand the way they develop their own leaders .

Research structure
