The author rereads the Sonnets in the perspective ofcognitive metaphors, giving up theoretical approaches of historicism which arelack of facts and evidences. The thesis analyzes 26 sonnets, from Sonnet 127 toSonnet 152. on the theory of conceptual metaphor and by means of parablerhetorical criticism. By the convincing data the author figures out. themes ofthe Sonnets is of logic and compelling.

John Keats also held that the Sonnets were no doubtbeautiful master pieces. In the 20th century, people began to take interest in theSonnets rather than Shakespeare's dramas.
