摘要:研究的基础上,将给予一些建议,为了克服负迁移中国的缺点,提高大学英语写作教学和学习。

cond language acquisition (L2) related with both positive and negative one. Besides erroranalysis, many other researches lay their stress on the L1 transfer just like interlanguage. Thispart can be divided into two parts. One is about the related theories and the other one is aboutthe previous studies in China and abroad.


2.1 Related theories


2.1.1 Language transfer
As the main obstacle to language learning, language negative transfer plays an importantrole in the research of second language acquisition, for it is the interference coming from thelanguage knowledge acquired before by learners, existing in many aspects such as lexicalmeaning, grammatical rules and native culture. Brown (2007:32), a psychologist, gives adefinition to “transfer”, which “refers to the carryover of previous performance or knowledgeprevious or subsequent learning”. While this process is performing in the target language, itwill take place in the usage of sound, expressions, as well as structures (Yule, 2006:18).Numerous linguists have laid their study stress on the theory of language transfer while theyare researching second language acquisition, in which the negative transfer of mother tongue isthe most important factor that leads to many language errors in the using strategies, which hasaroused special attention from researchers and linguists.

Conclusion


There are some limitations in this study as following.
As the practice of English writing, these two titles are given in class, therefore, whetherthe students’ attitude for writing is serious or not cannot be sure. Furthermore, whether theEnglish writing level reflected from these productions is really the true level still needs to beconsidered.
Next, the author just picks up two practices as samples and the period of experimentingdoesn’t last for a long time. This action leads that our research can only reflect a result at apoint of time rather than the one for a long period of time.
