摘要:本文是英语语言学论文,现在完成时的语言磨损研究在初二升初三的学生中进行,这些学生经过两个月的放假时间。数据收集分两部分进行:(1)第一次测试在暑假之前进行主要是测试学生对现在完成时的掌握程度;(2)第二次测试采用和第一次相同的试卷,但在两个月之后进行。
Language attrition was recognized as an academic research field at the Conference on the Attrition of Language Skills which was hosted by Richard Lambert in 1999 at the University of Pennsylvania. After the conference, some different items were used to define the phenomenon. The most proportional definition was that it means gradual disappearance of language skills or language knowledge in individuals or groups having the different focuses. Concerning the study of the phenomenon of language loss, many terms are used in those papers such as: forgetting, change, shift, attrition. Of all those terms, attrition seems to be accepted by most researches in the field of language attrition. The above different definitions mostly depended on the researchers’ own view. As Yukawa sum up, the focus of language attrition can be on following aspects: sociological aspect-the causes of language attrition, linguistic aspect-what is lost and psychological aspect-how is lost (Yukawa, 1997). Lambert & Freed’s definition is an inclusive one which covers all aspects (Lambert & Freed, 1982).
