Abstract

The“Bullwhip Effect”is a universal phenomenon in the supply chain management. With the stimulated competition and development of economy,it has been a problem concerned by many people. How to eliminate the harm caused by the“Bullwhip Effect”?The paper analyzes the fact and proves the bad effect in the supply chain by the“Bullwhip Effect”and according to these facts,some resolve methods are put forward.

1． Foreword
Corporation A is a food organization that mainly produces milk.It is populated by its all wool and a yard wide output and its warm service.In recent years,as the yielding scale becomes spread,corporation A tries to extend its operation to the inside of our country.Leaders realized that as a corporation dealing with food,to make the product fresh is the main factors which can affect corporation’s benefit.The first point that a corporation must take account is how to carry the output to consumers at the first time.One superintend found the important of the management of supply chain in a communical conference,so he take the topic back and study it with the other leaders.Then they have their own project on the management of supply chain.The project has been brought into effect.But after two months,they found there are difficulties in implementing the project,the follow is the problem that corporation A has come up against:Leaders didn’t know if there is sale work in its storage;from the serve department to wholesaler and shopkeeper,Every superior has a higher level of storage than its lower lever.Meanwhile the leader found that the level of consumption is steady-going in a fixed area,at the same time,the fluctuate of distribution in shopkeeper is not large,but there is a large fluctuate in corporation’s dealer,at the same time,there is a great fluctuate in the number of order from corporation to 
serve man.The phenomena looks like that when you shaking rope’s end forcibly,the end of rope has been comes a large change.Some one called this Bullwhip Effect(Angeles, R,2005).The phenomena has been found in P&G in 1995,as the leader of P&G looked into the distributing role of one time pants for babyhood.The similar phenomeon has been found in IBM and the other large corporations.what’s more,professor Sterman validated this electrophoresis by his researches(Guide, V. Jr., T. Harrison and L. van Wassenhove,2003).
When corporation A booked more storage than they have forecasted,they barge up against unsalable which made the storage has been keep long in stock.As we know,fresh food is very important to a food company,it is the largest capital that help corporation win more buyer.On the other hand,these storage can not be delivered to client quickly,add up to the bad management on transportation of products,some consumers received overdue food,which tamper with the degree of faithfulness,then the visualize and the credit standing of corporation has been destructed.The following map explained the phenomenon concretely:Products products
