Personal Narrative – Christmas Party

"I wish you a merry Christmas, I wish you a merry Christmas; I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year..." the song of Christmas still ringing in my ear, bringing back memories of my Christmas Celebration this year. Now, I would tell the story of how our family celebrated one of the most wondrous days in winter --- Christmas.

Even on the 25th December, everything seems to be the same in Malaysia. Nothing seems to be different at all, only there were more cars in complexes and people are travelling a lot more than usual, going back home to visit their parents, travelling to other countries for Christmas. But, our house were 留学论文extremely different as winter ornaments, reindeers lightings, small cottages, snow sprayed windows and standing tall a white Christmas tree were decorated around the house. We covered the ornaments with tonnes of snow spray, giving the house a whole winter wonderland feeling. After hours and days of preparation we are finally ready to get the party started. Many people came to our Christmas party and we are lucky that we ordered enough food for the people as gingerbread houses; cookies, pudding, turkey and ice-cream are all present on the very night. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves, eating, chattering away with their friends and family as my family and I go around the houses greeting and making sure that the guests feel as comfortable as they can.

At around the late evening, a clown came to our house. My mom suggested that to ensure the children that were attending our Christmas party with their parents does not feel bored and tired. The clown was pretty much mean to me as he passed me a deflated balloon, this made all the children laugh, even though I was pretty much embarrassed myself, I laughed with the children. The most exciting moment the children have from the magic show is when the clown turned papers into candies which made all the kids scream in their high voices as they run and grab candies on the ground. After everything seems to be calm again, screams and laughter of the children seem to emerge again as the gifting event started.
