1.1. Research background
Female fashion magazine with international copy right cooperation is an imprint of the times which indicates that China has entered into the word after the reform and opening to the outside world. It is also a kind of choice that foreign investment enter into China. Because such kind of magazines established foreign cooperation relatively early and had a far-.reaching effect, it has gained much valuable experience on how to cooperate with foreign media. This essay looks back upon the history of female fashion magazines with international copyright cooperation, and it takes a typical magazine as the research object, COSMOPOLITIAN and Chinese CITY BEAUTY, making a detailed analysis. From analysis it can be concluded that the mode of copyright cooperation is an effective way to improve China’s Peroidcials’ international competitive power. It breaks up traditional running mode and doctrinal mode of thiking, bringing female fashion magazines on a higher level. But this essay also points out that Periodicals market situation will changing more quickly after China entered into the WTO, and the mode of copyright cooperation will not be the advantage anymore. Any female fashion magazine needs take the test of the market. It will be a trend that Periodicals industry cooperates with foreign investment, but we must be cautious. It should be more important than keeping the stability and independence of China’s Periodicals’ market.

This paper selects this topic, because China's accession to the world trade organization has 10 years, China's entry into the WTO brings the actual pressure and challenge for Chinese media industry, foreign media constantly enters the Chinese mainland according to the Chinese government commitment and WTO documents and create quite competitive pressure to China's media industry certainly (Lynch, 1999). Taking this opportunity, the thorough analysis and discussion on China's media and foreign media in the global background without doubt has rich positive sense.

The media industry in China is a very strong policy-effect industry, relative to the newspaper and television industry, the magazine's entry threshold significantly is lower, the risk is far less than other media. From the view of mass communication, fashion magazine is unique in the many journals, and the influence of fashion magazines to the society and the economic is now rising (Latham, 2007). Global fashion magazine in China combines the two just advantages. it is not only on the market at present to be representative, and also accumulating rich experience for reference, once it is the investment and concern hot. Therefore, this article specially chooses the international women fashion magazines this Angle, analysis the process of the foreign media cooperation experience, and tries to draw really reference to help China journals’ accession to the WTO, so this has certain practical value and meaning.
