In the paper, I will focus on the 48th Munich Security Conference held on Feb. 3-5. One of the hot topics in this international conference is about the crisis in Syria. Here I choose four reports about the Munich Security Conference from international newspapers. And the four reports are from China Daily of China, The Newyork Times of USA, The BBC news of UK and the The Irish Times of Irish. I will compare the four reports and complete my project.

It was the second time since October 2011 that the two permanent members of the UN Security Council (UNSC) had used a double veto to block a UNSC draft resolution on the Middle Eastern nation. For the vote of the UNSC resolution, other developed countries such as America, France and UK hold different attitudes. As the reflection of the countries’ political standpoint, the newspapers in this countries will also showed their respective ideas that conforming their countries’ polity.
One report in China Daily expressed its point by stating that the United States and the European Union had vowed to take drastic measures against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's government, military confrontation in the Middle East remains a threat.From here we can see that this report showed some disagreement with what US and EU has down.
